II International Municipal Forum (IMF) of BRICS countries 2020 will be hosted from 5 to 6 October 2020 in Saint-Petersburg in online format.
This Forum is an annual business event within the framework of the project of the International municipal collaboration among BRICS countries consolidating the countries of "G-5" for the purpose of building political, economic and humanitarian networking and has been running under the support of RF Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Rossotrudnichestvo.
In 2020 Russian and foreign public officials, representatives of business and scientific communities, managers of corporations and public experts will become participants of the event.
The business agenda consists of 19 panels and aimed at discussing the key issues in the area of economic and industrial development, investments, construction and upgrading of urban infrastructure, urban sciences, and digitalization of innovative technologies, tourism, culture, education, sports, humanitarian collaboration and social engineering.
IMF BRICS 2020 will be hosted in the format of BRICS Plus and BRICS outreach. Co-organizers of the business agenda are: RF Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of economic development, Ministry of Sports, Federal Customs Service, Tax Service, Federal Antimonopoly Service, Rostourism, Rossotrudnichestvo, Rosmolodezh (Federal Agency for Youth Affairs), Central Electoral Commission, Business Russia and others.
