3.5 billion rubles are allocated for the development of an IT-park in Sevastopol

About 350 people are currently working in the cluster, as stated by Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev.

The volume of planned investments in Sevastopol IT Park will amount to about 3.5 billion rubles. This was announced by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev at the opening of the Sevastopol Day during the Russia Expo Forum at VDNKh.

«Our goal is to turn Sevastopol into a hub for the IT industry, attracting top programmers. We are taking significant steps to achieve this. We have an IT-Crimea technopark. Today, the planned investments amount to almost 3.5 billion rubles, with approximately 20 resident companies and around 350 people already working in the IT cluster», he said.

According to the Sevastopol government, the project to establish a technology park in the field of information technology has been in progress in the city since 2018. Until 2030, there are plans to expand the infrastructure of the technopark, construct new facilities such as a corporate university, a business incubator, innovation laboratories, and a congress center. The total area by 2030 will be about 40,000 square meters, and the cluster will offer about 5,000 new jobs.
