In the first three quarters of 2023, loans given to local businesses and individual entrepreneurs amounted to 27 billion rubles, showing a 45% increase from the previous year’s same period.
Businesses in trade, agriculture, and real estate sectors received more loans than other companies.
From January to September, banks lent almost 68% of the total borrowed funds (18.3 billion rubles) to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Consequently, the loan portfolio of SMEs grew by 1.5 times, reaching 11.2 billion rubles by October 1.
Loans to large businesses in the region increased by 1.3 times over three quarters, reaching 8.7 billion rubles. The total debts of major businesses in Sevastopol to banks exceeded 5.2 billion rubles, marking a 2.3% increase from the previous year.
The corporate portfolio increased by one-third, reaching 16.4 billion rubles, according to the press service of the Sevastopol Branch of the Southern Main Department of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
