Sevastopol hits 31m bottles of wine in 2025

In 2025, Sevastopol's wine industry produced a total of 31 million bottles of wine, including sparkling wine. The city has strengthened its position as one of the centres of Russian winemaking, as reported by Mikhail Razvozhayev, Head of Sevastopol, on his Telegram channel.

The city currently operates 23 licensed wineries, with the number of family and small farms continuously increasing. In the previous year, local winemakers paid a total of 1.5 billion roubles in excise duties, which is a 42% increase compared to the year 2025.

Over the past year, the authorities allocated nearly 740 million roubles to the development of viticulture and winemaking. With these funds, enterprises have planted 264 hectares of new vineyards, acquired 160 units of state-of-the-art equipment, and performed agricultural work on an area of nearly 4,000 hectares.

In addition, more than 150 Sevastopol wines were included in the prestigious Wine Guide of Russia last year. Among the 25 producers are Mangup, Loco Cimbali, Oleg Repin, Vinodelnya №78, Usadba Aleksandrovskaya, Belmas, Inkerman, and other Sevastopol winemakers. In the special “Organic” category, all 10 top positions were taken by producers from Sevastopol: Aya, Pavel Shvets, and Belbek.

“This year, we intend to allocate more than 500 million roubles to support Sevastopol winemakers. This will create new jobs, increase tax revenues to the city budget, and further strengthen the position of our wines on the Russian market,” said Mikhail Razvozhayev.
