The city of Sevastopol has initiated the process of accepting applications for subsidies to cover a portion of the expenses associated with the development of aquaculture (commercial fish farming).
The subsidy is provided to reimburse 50% of the costs incurred in the current and reporting financial years in the following areas:
- The purchase of feed used for breeding and/or keeping and raising aquaculture
- The purchase of planting material used for aquaculture breeding
- The purchase (manufacture) of previously unused equipment for breeding, keeping, and growing aquaculture
In 2025, the budget allocated to this area exceeded 8.5 million roubles. These funds were used to purchase algae and spat farming equipment. This state support enabled Sevastopol enterprises to produce 53 tonnes of aquaculture products.
