Sevastopol took part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2021 was held in St. Petersburg on June 2-5, 2021.

For many years, the Forum has been one of the world’s leading sites for discussing key economic issues facing emerging markets and the world as a whole.

The main topic of the forum is «Together Again. Economics of the New Reality». More than a hundred events were held on issues of the global and Russian economies, as well as social and technological agendas, within the extensive business program of the SPIEF.

SPIEF 2021 became the first and largest full-time business event in the world after the forced interruption due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Forum was held in a traditional format using modern digital technologies. The Forum was attended by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, world leaders, heads of large Russian and foreign companies and banks, leading experts from among representatives of science, the media, and the business communities.

The Forum site was attended by over 13,500 participants from 141 countries for the four days of its work; 5,000 of them are representatives of Russian and foreign companies and 1,500 of them are managerial personnel. Representatives of more than 1000 media organizations from 46 countries worked at the sites.

The official delegation of the city of Sevastopol, headed by the Governor of the City of Sevastopol, M.V. Razvozhayev, took an active part in the Forum. The delegation included the Deputy Governor, the Chairman of the Government of Sevastopol, M.A. Litovko, and the Chief of Staff of the Governor and Government of Sevastopol, P.G. Prelovskiy.
