To support industrial businesses in Sevastopol, subsidies from the federal budget will be allocated by the interdepartmental commission. In 2024, the city will receive 81.5 million rubles for this purpose.
According to Alexey Popov, Acting Director of the Department of Economic Development, 55.7 million rubles will be allocated to increase the capital of the State Fund for Industrial Development of Sevastopol for providing loans to industrial businesses. The remaining 25.8 million rubles will be given to industrialists to reimburse their expenses for buying new equipment. Popov mentioned during the city government meeting that this is a new way to support industrial enterprises.
Answering the Governor’s question, the speaker stated that the current capitalization of the Fund for Industrial Development is 300 million rubles, with 219 million already allocated to industrial companies as loans.
“We plan to issue an additional 80 million by the end of the year. Basically, most of the money of the Fund for Industrial Development will be distributed”, Popov said.
