A special program to support domestic tourism in Russia was started.
The purpose of the program is to make the rest of the citizens in the country more interesting, and most importantly, more accessible. The essence of the program is that the tourist will be able to receive a refund of up to 15 thousand rubles depending on the cost of the voucher. All regions of the country will take part in the program.
For the convenience of a tourist, the program includes package tours (flight and accommodation) or separate accommodation in a hotel for those who arrive at the hotel on their own. In this case, the tour or accommodation should be at least 5 days and 4 nights, and a tourist should use a card of the MIR payment system during payment.
A government subsidy (cashback) is provided both when buying ready-made tours from tour operators, and when organizing an independent journey or booking only a hotel.
