The delegation from Sevastopol took part in two tourist exhibitions in Moscow

Sevastopol became a participant of two tourist exhibitions in Moscow. One of them was the 19th International Travel Fair Intourmarket, which took place from March 16 to 18, and the second was the 30th International Exhibition of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, MIIT 2024, held from March 19 to 21.

These international exhibitions are very important for the Russian tourism industry. They offer specific platforms for exploring and implementing the best solutions and methods for developing the tourism market.

Sevastopol booths were set up at the exhibitions, all with the same layout. Programs from top tour operators and winemakers were presented. The main theme of the booths was «Sevastopol, a decade in its home port!».

Every person who stopped by our Sevastopol booth had the chance to join in historical quizzes and master classes, take a picture in the stunning scenery of Tauric Chersonese. Plus, they could discover ways to explore Sevastopol and its suburbs. For six days, Sevastopol’s booths at both exhibitions were visited by about six thousand people.

«Participants were briefed on the ongoing projects focused on enhancing tourism in Sevastopol during the business program. Currently, the focus is on developing a Wine Train concept that will offer a unique tourist experience featuring tastings in renovated train cars and guided trips to local wineries», said the Deputy Governor of Sevastopol Maria Litovko.

Currently the region is implementing five priority projects in the field of tourism: the creation of a tourist and recreational cluster on the northern side, Terroir Sevastopol, the park of living history called Fedyukhin Heights, Development of Balaklava and the Great Sevastopol Path projects.
