The Russian Ministry for Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media launched a new mechanism for supporting small and medium-sized businesses – companies will be able to purchase software at half the price by compensating 50% of the cost of the license to manufacturers. The support measure is being implemented by the Russian Fund for the Development of Information Technologies within the «Digital Technologies» federal project of the «Digital Economy of the Russian Federation» national program.
The support measure will allow thousands of entrepreneurs to legally use high-quality Russian software. In total, more than 400 thousand licenses for cloud software at a reduced cost will be offered to companies. This not only stimulates companies to switch to domestic IT products but also, thanks to digital transformation, will expand and scale up their businesses.
